Babok & Robinson, LLP is a Los Angeles-based law firm that specializes in the entertainment industry. We provide advice and counsel and render services to a broad range of clients who create, produce, finance, market, and distribute motion pictures and television series.

In film finance, we represent both lenders and borrowers with the financing of feature films and television series, including traditional structured finance transactions, bridge transactions, and post-production loans. We represent many of the major lending institutions engaged in project financing, and we are routinely engaged in multi-party financing transactions involving co-productions, foreign subsidies, and tax advantaged structures. We also represent high net worth individuals in their entertainment industry investments, as well as assist clients who are engaged in complex distribution and financing agreements.

In the traditional areas of entertainment law—motion pictures and television projects—our clients include authors and writers, directors, producers, motion picture and television production companies, corporate executives, and literary and talent agents and managers.

When clients face litigation or arbitration, we collaborate closely with outside litigation counsel to effect rapid resolution of disputes.

The Babok & Robinson, LLP partners began their careers at mid-sized to large general practice firms, where they cultivated years of experience and relationships.
